Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State on Thursday flagged off the distribution of free exercise books to primary and secondary school students in the state.

“The lack of conducive learning environment and longstanding failure to properly fund education can explain rampant incidents of examination malpractice. We are working to end this menace and return Kwara to the top of the table in the north central and beyond,” he said.

AbdulRazaq added that the state government would soon hold an education summit to discuss the challenges facing the sector and to evolve workable solutions.
